Come show your support for fired workers and encourage consumers to take their business elsewhere!

We will learn more about each of the Presidential candidates through short presentations given by our members. We will also elect a new member to our Executive Board to fill a vacancy and choose our Volunteer of the Year for the DP/SFV Truman Awards event.

Valley Grassroots for Democracy has reserved seats for performances of Bush Is Bad on May 19th at 8:00 pm and May 20th at 3:00 p.m. (Sunday the 20th is sold out!) at the NoHo Arts Center, 11136 Magnolia Blvd. Normal ticket price is $35, but VGFD is discounting tickets to $30 but you must order the tickets through us in advance to get this price. This is a 99-seat theater and it may sell out, so order your tickets now. Invite your friends to come along and if they order through us they will also get the discounted price. There is a limited amount of free parking on the street and $4 parking across the street in the TV Academy's parking structure.Come see "Bush Is Bad" with VGFD--It feels so good to just laugh at W and his gang! You'll have a heckuva time!

Speeches from major presidential candidates will be excerpted, as well as exclusive news conference footage and interviews with prominent Democrats, including Elizabeth Kucinich. DAA members who attended will also recap their experiences at the convention. The public is welcome to attend on Thursday, May 24, 7 p.m. at Vincenzo’s Pizza — 24504 1/2 Lyons Avenue in Newhall.
