Join us for our May meeting on May 19 at 10:00 at the State Building Auditorium. Our special guest will be Assemblymember Lloyd Levine. We will learn more about each of the Presidential candidates through short presentations given by our members. We will also elect a new member to our Executive Board to fill a vacancy and choose our Volunteer of the Year for the DP/SFV Truman Awards event. 8:00 pm
Valley Grassroots for Democracy has reserved seats for performances of Bush Is Bad on May 19th at 8:00 pm and May 20th at 3:00 p.m. (Sunday the 20th is sold out!) at the NoHo Arts Center, 11136 Magnolia Blvd. Normal ticket price is $35, but VGFD is discounting tickets to $30 but you must order the tickets through us in advance to get this price. This is a 99-seat theater and it may sell out, so order your tickets now. Invite your friends to come along and if they order through us they will also get the discounted price. There is a limited amount of free parking on the street and $4 parking across the street in the TV Academy's parking structure.Come see "Bush Is Bad" with VGFD--It feels so good to just laugh at W and his gang! The DPSFV Executive Board meets monthly at 7:00 pm at the State Building Auditorium, 6150 Van Nuys Blvd. All Democrats are invited to come to our meetings however only board members can vote.
