On August 28, 2008 in Denver, in front of an audience of more than 60,000 Americans, the next President of the United States will accept the nomination of our party.

If you can’t make it to Denver, come on over to Van Nuys where you can celebrate with the San Fernando Valley Democrats as we watch the exciting event together on our big screen. Join us as we launch this historic campaign to elect Barack Obama and Democrats all across the nation.

Burbank's Obama/Convention Watch Party!

Everyone's welcome to come join the Burbank Democrats for the history, fun and excitement of Barack Obama's acceptance speech, and talk about what we need to do to ensure a victory in November. All televisions will be tuned in to this historic night. We anticipate starting at 7 p.m., but pending the timing of Obama's speech we may start earlier or later. We'd like to do this in "real time," but if that cannot happen, don't worry: DVR/Tivo will ensure we can watch it.
