Enjoy the last 2008 presidential debate with the Burbank Dems at wonderful Picanha Churrascaria restaurant downtown—NO cover or admission, and with special at-cost discounts: mega-salad bar @ $9.95 or Picanha's famous grilled meats dinner with salad at $16.95. Or, just enjoy the no-host bar. The BDC will also offer voter registration; Obama signs, T-shirts, stickers and buttons are available for a donation. A small, no-obligation silent auction of political and celebrity memorabilia is also set as a fund-raiser for the club. Plus, get info or sign up re: helping with voter reg until the Oct. 19 deadline, or phone-banking for Barak Obama, other down-ballot state candidates and the propositions. The DPSFV Executive Board meets monthly at 7:00 pm at the State Building Auditorium, 6150 Van Nuys Blvd. All Democrats are invited to come to our meetings however only board members can vote.
