The development, or over development, of Warner Center will be one of the topics addressed by Council member Dennis Zine at the May general meeting of the Valley West Democratic Club.
Zine has been elected to represent the third district for two terms and has a reputation of being one of the few members of the Council who is willing to take tough and often controversial stands.
In addition to the growth of Warner Center, it is expected that the Councilman will also address such issues as the looming budget deficit for Los Angeles, the proposed clean up of the Santa Susana Field Laboratory and the on-going construction at Pierce College.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear a candid discussion, and pose your own questions, about what's happening in the West Valley in particular and the City of Los Angeles in general.
There is ample parking and of course, no fee. The public is welcome to join us!

Candidate forum for those running for Superior Court Judge in Los Angeles County or for County Central Committee in the North San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita.
Also guest speaker Jeff Daar will discuss the two competing propositions the ballot. Propositions 98 and 99 will both affect eminent domain, but they are very different.
Sponsored by the Democratic Neighbors of the 38th Assembly District, The Democratic Club of the Santa Clarita Valley, the Democratic Alliance for Action, and the North (San Fernando) Valley Democratic Club.
