Here's a nonpartisan issue of interest to all—or is it? What's the status of water—from the state and regional level down to our city ration and conservation program in Burbank and other neighbor cities...and are any of them at loggerheads?

Joe Flores, Conservation Department manager with Burbank Water and Power, is the guest speaker who will get listeners up-to-date with the reality and the outlook of the water crisis at different levels of government, including our local ration plan and future in Burbank.

We'll also have two short, professional water-related video trailers that webmaster David Dobson worked on: a 6 minute video about Rainwater Harvesting, and a 10-minute award winning film (about the whistle blower who saved the Los Angeles River from losing its Clean Water Act protections.

Also: the club's upcoming fall fundraiser, looming local and DP-SFV campaign efforts, and a report from the recent state executive board session.
